Introduction
What is the Offshore Programme?
The UTeM ACCESS Offshore Programme is an international academic initiative that brings UTeM’s high-quality curriculum and teaching expertise to partner institutions abroad. Through this programme, students can pursue selected UTeM academic programmes in our Learning Centre (off-campus) while enjoying the same learning standards, assessments, and academic integrity practised at UTeM Malaysia. The offshore model allows students to gain globally recognised Malaysian qualifications without the need to relocate.
Objectives and purpose
The main objective of the Offshore Programme is to expand access to quality higher education by delivering UTeM’s industry-driven programmes internationally. It aims to:
1. Provide students with opportunities to pursue Malaysian-accredited qualifications abroad/ off-campus.
2. Strengthen academic collaboration with global institutions through shared teaching, curriculum development, and quality assurance.
3. Support the development of skilled graduates who are job-ready and aligned with international industry standards.
4. Enhance UTeM’s global presence while contributing to human capital development in partner countries.
